Christians world over are reminded of the Pope’s pronouncement that today Friday March 9th upto tomorrow 10th there should be a 24, Hours for the Lord in a special Eucharistic adoration.
The day invites the entire Church community to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation in the context of Eucharistic adoration, and each diocese worldover, at least to have one church that should remain open for twenty-four consecutive hours, to give an opportunity for both Eucharistic adoration and sacramental confession.
In response to the papal pronouncement The Archbishop of Kampala Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga declared the following churches.
Lubaga Cathedral, Mitala Maria Parish, Wakiso parish church, Bugonga,, Nsambya, Yes Center Nsambya, Munyonyo martyrs shrine and Namugongo martyrs basilica.
