Holy Cross Family Ministries Kampala Office a department within the Holy Cross Congregation a priests and religious congregation in the Catholic church organized the annual children rosary rally at the celebrations of the feast of our lady the holy rosary.
The day marked every October 7th at the Holy Cross Family Ministries Nsambya draw over 15 primary schools from Kampala Archdiocese which participated in the match pass with mother Mary portrait around Nsambya, reciting of the rosary and mass, with a reminder to parents never to abandon prayer at home with children.
The Director Holy Cross Family Ministries Jinja Fr. Denis Lule Kiggundu emphasized that for the nation to get responsible, patriotic and inspiring leaders it must be built through prayer especially the holy rosary
The Director Holy Cross Family Ministries East Africa CSC Fr. Leonard Olobo said their efforts is to promote prayer in families at school and all working places because their founder Fr. Patrick Payton received God’s favour and was healed of polio through prayer.
The Superior Holy Cross East Africa Fr. Patrick Nelly reminded the gathering that forgiveness and successes are all received through God. He reminded the children of the Uganda martyrs some of them died at a tender age like those in primary who should be a source of their inspiration as Pope Francis said that the blood of the Uganda Martyrs should flow in each individual’s life.
