The ordinary of Masaka Diocese Rt. Rev. Bishop John Baptist Kaggwa has prayed for Uganda to be free from Corruption, poor services and financially independent among Ugandans.
Bishop Kaggwa says Uganda once a country, called the Pearl of Africa is losing on the Spirit of national unity, to save guard her independence and a full awareness to cooperate for integral development.
He was leading the prayers at the 56th independence day celebrations at Kasasa play grounds in Kyotera district where the national celebrations have been held under the theme; STANDING TALL TO CELEBRATE 56 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE”.
Bishop Kaggwa also prayed for more social, economic and political understanding as the country journeys into the 57th independence year.
