Holy Trinity Parish Church Kamwokya has today celebrated sivler Jubilee and commissioned a multipurpose building that will house priestly residences, Parish Hall, and rental shops as an income project.

The celebration has been officiated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Christopher Kakooza of Lugazi diocese once a Parish Priest of the same parish who applauded the current Parish Priest Fr. James Ssebayiga for his commitment to building faith and unity in what is described as a poor area.

Kamwokya is a multi-langual area with generally low income earners and was in the 1980s and 1990s one of the worst affected places with HIV/AIDS that even led to the founding of Kamwokya Caring Community by Sr. Mary Dagan to care for the infected and affected.

Bishop Kakooza encouraged the congregation never to be confused by self centered individuals to leave the Catholic Church and urged people to strive for sacraments because they are the foundation of spirituality in the Church.
