The Congregation of the Jesuits has received two new priests who have been ordained by the ordinary of Lugazi diocese Rt. Rev. Bishop Christopher Kakooza at St. Peter’s Parish Nsambya with caution to them to exercise priesthood in the Catholic Church.
The two newly ordained are Rev. Priests; Michael Anthony Ochen from Lira diocese and Michael Ochwo from Jinja diocese respectively.
Bishop Kakooza reminded them that priesthood is for Christ exercised together with fellow priests, the Bishops under the guidance of the Pope and the Holy Spirit to the entire church.
He said many are afflicted with Satan and priesthood is meant to deliver them back to God.
Meanwhile the Bishop of Hoima diocese Rt. Rev. Vincent Kirabo has also ordained 11 deacons and 9 priests at a colourful ceremony in his two year period as a bishop of Hoima with a reminder to the newly ordained to love God, Serve all with obedience and understanding. The ceremony was held at our lady of Loudes Cathedral Bujumbura.
