The Archbishop of Kampala Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has elevated and commissioned the 66th Parish of St. Charles Lwanga Bujuuko as the archdiocese celebrates 50 years of existence

Bujuuko Parish has been curved from Muduuma Parish and the new priests are Fr. Anthony Bbaale and his assistant Fr. Pontian Mayega. The new Parish is made up of Bujuuko, Nkambo, Nalubugo, Kisamula and Manyobaseka sub parishes with at least 20,000 Catholics.

Dr. Lwanga said parishes are founded to strengthen evangelization in this era when many are misled by false prophets urging the priests to work with the parishioners to develop spiritually and materially.

Dr.Lwanga commissioned the Glotto of Mother Mary and graced two married couples with a reminder to families never to abuse the sacrament of holy matrimony.

The Parish Priest St. Charles Bujuuko Parish Fr. Anthony Bbaale unveiled a mega plan of constructing a new church with the first phase estimated to cost 500 million shillings.
