St. Augusts’ College Wakiso has celebrated her 24th anniversary since the school was founded by the late Fr. I.F. Kasibante as a community school to provide quality and affordable education and nurture youth holistically.

The Director Faye de Charity Namugongo Msgr John Wynand Katende officiated with a holy Eucharistic mass where he also confirmed 20 students along with the Chaplain Fr. Joseph Lumanyika and the School HM Fr. Benedict Kaweesa and Fr. Ronnie Mubiru education secretary Wakiso Episcopal vicariate.

Msgr. Katende hailed the school administration for keeping the school foundation urging students to exploit opportunities at hand especially the priests who are part of the top administration who are building a child according to the catholic norms and values.

Msgr. Katende however cautioned student against false prophets who are using all avenues including the media to disseminate distorted knowledge of God which he termed as another form of corruption entrenching the society in a conspiracy to divide the church.

He also noted with concern the way Leadership in the country especially MPs have betrayed their electorate which should be examined.

The school head teacher Fr. Benedict Kaweesi hailed parents for fulfilling their responsibility more so in career guidance that is why St. Augustine’s College Wakiso has always excelled.
