2019 Buganda Tourism Expo launched

The Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga has noted that cultural tourism is a potential source of Buganda’s development if explored and jealously protected.

While launching the 2019 Buganda tourism expo slated for June 23^rd to July 1^st July at Lubiri- Mengo on Tuesday, Mayiga said that there is need to map and develop cultural sites within counties all over the kingdom that will attract tourists and generate revenue.

Although the expo is looking at tourism Buganda development agenda is targeting agriculture, education and cooperatives which exhibitors must not forget.

The expo is under the theme ‘’Buganda, the investment, cultural and business touch point’’ and is expected to attract Over 50,000 people who participated in the 2018 Buganda tourism expo.
