The Uganda Police Force has passed out 37 officers who have completed a master’s degree of arts in peace governance and security at the Police senior command and staff college Bwebaja.

The inspector general of police Gen. Kale Kaihura has asked the officers to avoid temptations such as corruption which compromises their integrity if they are to preserve the profession.

Gen. Kaihura tasked the college administration to do a lot in research on the root cause of the increased criminality.

Meanwhile the Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Jeje Odong asked the grandaunts to kick corruption out of police, which has become a vice.

He also accused police officers who are against rampant trainings and advised that constant trainings result into better performance at the service.

The United Nations University for Peace from Sir Lanka facilitated the training of the officers in terms especially in terms of class work, research and theories.
