The Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga has urged Ugandans to be aware of those who condemn the plan of issuing out land titles dubbed ‘’kyapa mungalo  that was launched last month for all those on Kabaka’s land.

Addressing members of the Buganda Lukiiko Mayiga said many of the sabotours have already secured their land tittles from Buganda land board but are consistently decampaigning the process in public and are the same people who condemned the fundraise drive Etofaali.

Last week Buganda land board exposed the land titles that former state house press sectary tamale Mirundi and the public relations officer of the kibuli Muslim Sect Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata Batte who are the same people going around misleading others.

Meanwhile Mayiga welcomed the government’s constituted land Commission of Inquiry saying it will help to unearth major causes of land wrangles in the country but , feared that its findings might not be shared nor implementing the recommendation as it has been to other inquiries.

The seven member commission of land inquiry chaired by hon. Justice Catherine Bamugemereire started its work last week on Wednesday MAY 3rd and they have to submit their report to the President within three months.

Other members on the commission include, Owekitiibwa Robert Ssebunnya, Mrs. Mary Oduka Ochan, Mrs. Joyce Gunze Habaasa,Dr. Rose Nakayi, Hon. Fredrick Ruhindi and Mr. George Bagonza Tinkamanyire.
