Day Care Proprietor detained over death of a Child.

Katwe Police are holding the proprietor of Tabitha 24 hours Day Care Centre in Namasuba over the death of a 4-year-old child.

Carol Mirembe was picked up over the weekend in connection to the death of 4-year-old Natasha Tendo who reportedly went to sleep together with other children but didn’t wake up.

Mirembe called police that took the deceased’s body to the City Mortuary for examination but when she appeared to record a statement at Katwe Police Station she was instead detained.

In her statement, Mirembe says she has been in charge of Tendo since her mother left the country in 2017 all confirmed by the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango.
