The former Democratic Party Leader Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere has collapsed at the Kampala Archdiocesan day celebrations and rushed to Lubaga hospital to save his life.
Dr. Ssemogerere 86, who retired the position of presidency for the Democratic Party in 1985 having served for 25 years, but according to the health officers who first attended to him, said his pressure was normal and regained consciousness the moment he was removed from the Cathedral.
His associates say that he has never complained of any chronic illness.
He was taken to Lugaga Hospital for further management.
