Former Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Apollo Kantinti who was recently sent to Luzira civil prison over 260 million shillings bank loan has been committed back to jail for failing to pay 108 million shillings to National Resistance Movement’s Sitenda Sebalu as costs resulting from an election petition appeal.

Kantinti who has been in Luzira for failure to pay a bank loan has been produced today before court of appeal Registrar Agnes Nkonge who has committed him back to serve six months period once he fails to clear the debt.

The debt of over 108million shillings results from the costs which court of appeal ordered Kantinti to pay to Sebalu after nullifying his election before ordering for fresh elections which brought the incumbent Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine to Parliament.

Before being taken back to Luzira Kantinti said that he is ready to go and sleep in jail for the six months because he can’t pay money to somebody who robbed him his victory.

Last week, Kantinti was committed and sent to civil prison by High court for failure to pay his 3 year service loan amounting to 260 million shillings.
