The opposition Forum for Democratic change (FDC) wants government to release reports of murders cases of women in Entebbe and Nansana, to ensure justice to their families.

Addressing a weekly press conference at FDC headquarters in Najjanakumbi, the party spokesperson to the office of the president Sarah Eperu says since last year no report has been produced in connection to the gruesome murders and have not heard of any latest court sessions over the alleged suspects in connection to the killings.

Eperu says that it’s a shame for the country to have the mothers continually brutalized and killed, threatening to mobilize the aggrieved families to attend women’s day celebrations come March 8th in a demonstration to demand for justice.

In December last year, Police disclosed to have finally made a breakthrough in identifying the people behind the serial murders of 19 young women in both Entebbe and Nansana areas between June and September 2017.

The Killings which were done in almost similar fashion included; attacking young women in the middle of the night, sexually assaulting them to death before inserting sticks in their private parts..
