The opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has announced a series of activities through which they are to fight the constitutional amendment of article 102b that is intended to allow president Museveni to contest for presidency beyond 75 years of age.

In a press conference at the Party headquarters at Najjanankumbi the Party Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafabi says they are to rally all Ugandans to convene at the FDC headquarters on Thursday and take a procession to petition the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga against the move.

According to him, the petition will also be copied to the office of the Inspector General of Government (IGG) and that of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) asking to investigate possible criminalities in the processes.

Mafabi further described the movers of the amendment as corrupt and self seekers targeting huge sums of money from President Museveni
