Ministry of Education and Sports has warned school head teachers and teachers to desist from buying examination from commercial examination bureaus.

According to the statement released this morning by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Ismael Mulindwa, many schools are involved in such act which has led to the loss of professional conduct by assessing children with unreliable tests that do not follow the prescribed curriculum.

Mulindwa says that schools have used this advantage to exploit parents by charging then uncalled for examination fees through daily, weekly, midterm and end of year tests.

However, he advises school heads to revert to the professional way of following curriculum, writing schemes of work and conducting effect lessons that will enable learners acquire skills and knowledge for personal and national development.
