Inter-religious council of Uganda [IRCU] has appealed to Buganda kingdom to support their efforts in drafting the road map for the national dialogue among all political leaders.

The appeal was made by the retired Archbishop of Uganda John Kakembo who led a team of IRCU for a meeting with the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga at Bulange Mengo saying, Buganda Kingdom has an upper hand in mobilizing Ugandans to take part in dialogue that is scheduled  to take place on September 26 -28 this year.

His Grace Kakembo says they are currently moving across the country receiving people’s views on the best discursive areas including stability, and peace in the country.

In his response Katikiro Mayiga commended the group for the initiative that is yearned for by most Ugandans to save the most challenging situations among others, poverty and insecurity.
