His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has called on all his subjects to be focused on only ideas that will promote development in the Kingdom.
At the opening of the 26th Buganda Lukiiko today at Bulange Mengo, the Kabaka said sabotours and detractors should not blind Baganda from their mission reminding the Lukiiko and all his subjects of his speech at the silver Jubilee celebrations on the throne that it has salient areas to reflect on.
During the celebrations Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi ii condemned greed among Ugandan leaders which facilitates corruption that is killing the country failing in providing social services to the citizens.
He also urged the public to focus on establishing and joining cooperatives that could improve on their standards of living by engaging in productive activities like coffee production and processing.
At todays Lukiiko Kabaka Mutebi ii also appointed 6 individuals as Ambassadors of Buganda Kingdom to various countries such as USA, Scotland, Swaziland and England among others,
Meanwhile the Katikiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga urged youths to stand for the pride of Buganda Kingdom be responsible citizens ready to work for their wellbeing and the Kingdom.
