Lands Minister Betty Amongi has for the second day faced it hard before Justice Catherine Bamugrmereire, in the Land Inquiry Commission over allegations of stealing the public buildings.

Bamugemereire presented documents pinning the minister for having acquired 5 buildings under the pretexts of her agents Henry Mubiru, as the director of her company:Amobet.

Bamugemereire who even threatened Minister Amongi to record a statement with the Police if she continued to evade questions, accused her of stealing people’s buildings hiding under Mubiru.

The minister who at one point observed silence as well consulting her lawyer for proper answers to the questions however denied accusations that would be placed on her.

By press time, they were still grilling her on controversies surrounding government’s Land Fund project.
