The Libyan Embassy in Uganda has refuted reports by the international Media CNN that showed extreme human right violations through human trafficking, slavery, torture and illegal detention of illegal African migrants.

The actions prompted a group of the Pan African Pyramid (PAP) Members, to petition the Libyan Embassy to explain the incidents.

PAP an intellectual non –partisan forum advocating for Pan Africanism, Patriotism and Nationalism want Libya to pronounce it’s self on the reports because the actions are crimes against humanity that are tried in the International Court.

The Libyan Ambassador to Uganda Algihani Naima told journalists at their mission in Kampala that the media reports are fabrications to taint their National image, a country that spearheaded the founding of the African Union, upholds and protects the teaching of Islam that emphasizes human dignity, values and norms.

Meanwhile; Andrew Irumba Katusabe, the spokesperson for the Pan African Pyramid said, their petition to the Libyan embassy also tasked the government of Uganda together with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), to investigate the allegations and bring to book the perpetrators.
