Uganda Women Parliament Association (UWOPA) has demanded the Ministry of Education to evoke teaching licenses of teachers found guilty of sex harassment to their students.

This follows a number of investigation reports ordered on school heads and directors said to be sexually harassing their female students.

Addressing the press at Parliament today, the Association Chairperson also Kumi Woman Member of Parliament Monica Amoding says that the ministry should introduce a record register for such members for public knowledge and also discontinue them from public service.

Amoding adds that they asked the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga to expedite the process of bringing the sexual offences bill that seeks among others to blacklist the sexual offenders.

Butalejja Woman MP Mugeni Milly says that its high time Parliament brought a bill that supports men convicted of sexual harassment and abuse of women to be castrated.
