Minister Museveni warns teachers against copying for children

The Minister for Education and Sports Janet Museveni says teachers should refocus on teaching methods to improve on students’ learning abilities than copying.

Officiating at the release of the 2018 PLE examinations, Janet Museveni said teachers appear to be more theoretical which doesn’t answer the need for understanding and conceptualization of the subjects by the learners.

She has also urged school supervisors to always register head teachers’ and teachers’ attendance to address the challenge of absenteeism.

Selection for Senior One will be held on January 24th and 25th next week for them to start classes on February 18^th two weeks after the official term opens on 4^th the same month.
