Police have blocked the procession of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament (MP) Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine on returning from a week long New York trip this afternoon when his entourage comprised of vehicles and civilians was intercepted by Entebbe police.

Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, confirmed that police had blocked Bobi Wine because his procession was going to disorganise traffic flow on Kampala Entebbe road.

According to the information at the scene police ordered his car to be towed but the driver refused citing no wrong doing by the legislator but police say Bobi Wine was wanted to make statement at the police over his social media message about block the lifting of the age limit.

Kayima says on top of the procession and public gathering that was not sanctioned by the police Bobi Wine has to clarify on the audio that is attributed to him that has been going round on the social media platforms.

Kyagulanyi was later quizzed by Entebbe Police Station over an audio attacking President Museveni and NRM Members of Parliament for passing a motion to table a Private Members Bill to amend Article 102 (b) of the constitution to allow the President to lead Uganda beyond 75 years of age.
