The state prosecutor Nelly Asiku in the case where a student of Young Men Christian Association(YMCA) Brian Isiiko is accused of sending love messages to Kabarole woman Member of Parliament(MP) Sylvia Rwabwogo has agreed not to present more witnesses in the re-trial of the case before Buganda road Chief Magistrates court.

Asiku told High court Judge, Justice Jane Francis Abodo that they will not bring in more witnesses in the matter before the lower court as the state prosecutor Miriam Njuki had requested.

Without objection Isiko’s lawyer Ramathan Waiswa, agreed to the judges set date of 25th March 2019 at 8:00am as to when she will deliver her ruling on the case.

Isiko was present in court in accompany with his relatives.

In December last year, Buganda road grade one magistrate Stella Amabirisi referred this case to High court to determine whether the state prosecution’s request for bringing in more witnesses was needed.
