President Yoweri Museveni has directed security agencies and public servants to work comprehensibly for effective service delivery.

Museveni says security is built on teamwork through sharing of knowledge which lacked in the two army officers General Kale Kayihur the former Inspector General of Police and the security Minister Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde who were sacked last week.

According to a statement posted by the Presidential Press Secretary Lindah Nabusayi shortly after Museveni sworn in the New Security Minster General Elly Tumwine at State House Entebbe, he called on the security heads never to remain silent amidst crime.

The ceremony was attended among others; the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, the First Lady who is also the Minister of Education and Sports Janet Museveni, Internal Affairs Minister Gen. Jeje Odong and the Minister of Public Service Muruli Mukasa.

The swearing in ceremony was conducted by the Head of Public service, John Mitala.
