The outgoing Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority [KCCA], Jennifer Musisi Ssemakula has appealed to her prospected successors not to sell KCCA assets.

At the launching of the renovation exercise for Nakivubo Blue Primary School in Kampala, Musisi said she has toiled to secure the assets that had been grabbed by the rich group yet they benefit all Ugandans.

She revealed that by the time she joined KCCA, the authority had assets amounting to UGX 46bn but she is leaving when the assets level has been raised to over UGX 650bn.

She says they are to spend at least 67 million shillings to renovate over 10 KCCA schools in Kampala, a sum of money that was received from various sponsors of the 2018 Kampala capital city festival that was canceled.

In October this year, Musisi tendered in her resignation effective December 15th to President Yoweri Museveni who yet haven’t consented it.

Musisi has served for years since 2011.
