Minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Betty Namisango Kamya has disclosed that President Museveni hasn’t yet responded on the replacement of the position of the Executive Director KCCA.

Jennifer Semakula Musisi is expected to leave office by tomorrow December 15th following submission of a 21-page resignation notice to President Museveni, ending her seven year tenure at the helm of the city.

Now, Kamya says that Museveni hasn’t either appointed a temporally Executive Director or a full ED to succeed Musisi.

However, she believes that with the existing credible directors, KCCA can continue running the city with or without Jennifer Musisi.

On order in the city, Kamya said no motorist should misuse the city by moving or operating on the pavements, road reserves or any other ungazatted place because it is a cost to the administration, traders and pedestrians.
