National Executive Council of NRM has been called at State house Entebbe Friday October 27th at 9am reportedly to discuss the presidential age limit bill, and it is to be chaired by the NRM Party Chairperson Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
However the meeting has excluded sitting Members of Parliament but invitations have been extended to CEC Members, NRM District Chairpersons who don’t double as MPs, Mayors of Municipalities, the 6 EALA members on NRM ticket, National Executive Committee Leagues, Flag bearers for Parliamentary seat in the yet to vote new districts, LCV, Municipalities and Kampala City, Local Council Village Chairpersons of the NRM.
The agenda also includes discussions on the LCI and Women Councils elections that are to be conducted next month.
Already the NRM CEC has resolved to support the amendment.
