The Democratic Party (DP) Bloc has challenged Ugandan courts to act over Parliament’s failure to implement its orders of processing electoral reforms within 30 days.
The Supreme Court under a panel of seven justices include Stella Arach-Amoko, Eldad Mwangusya, Rubby Opio-Aweri, Faith Mwondha, Paul Mugamba, Richard Buteera and Augustine Nshimye last month ordered government to ensure that legislation of its earlier electoral reform orders be tabled before Parliament within one month in March this year.

Dr. Abed Bwanika, a member of the DP Bloc while addressing the media at the DP headquarters, accused government of turning a deaf ear to the court directive of tabling the electoral reforms within one month.
