The toxicology reports released by the government Analytical Laboratory on the two foreign nationals who died at Pearl of Africa and Sheraton hotel in Kampala show that they had some substances in their bodies that could have caused their death.

The Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima confirmed the report but refused to committee himself on whether it was poison or any other indefinable substance.

The report was released over the weekend of Alex Sebastian Adreas, a Swedish national and Tersvuori Tuomas Juha Petteri, a Finish national who died on 5th this month and their bodies have been transferred back to their home countries.

Kayima says they are treating the incident as a homicide although investigations are still going on, but have written to the Internal Security Organisations (ISO) asking five of its operatives to appear and record statements with the Police over the incident.

Meanwhile, another American National Monteni Gay Watson, a 61-year-old from Texas, was on Saturday discovered dead in a Hotel at Bwana Tembo Safari Lodge in Obira Parish, Got Apwoyo sub-county, Nwoya district.

His body was taken to the government mortuary but later transferred to main 4th division barracks mortuary as they wait to transfer it to Mulago National Referral Hospital for postmortem.”

In another development Police is to interrogate a man who was arrested on Saturday raiding the home of the Chief Justice of Uganda Bart Katureebe, who is currently nursing wounds at Mulago Hospital.
