Police have killed four dogs that killed Agnes Mirembe, a maid in Zzana in Makindye Sabagabo Division in Wakiso district in the wee hours of Monday morning.
Mirembe 45, had been recruited from Buikwe District on Saturday to provide services in the home of businessman, David Wakabi.
She was attacked by the dogs when she went out around 5am to embark on her chores. Now, the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigire says a team of police officers from Katwe shot the killer dogs on This morning when they attacked Issa Mpanga.
According to Owoyesigire, the dogs attacked Mpanga around 9:30pm on Wednesday evening sending residents in protest. Mpanga is admitted at Hebrob clinic in Zzana along Entebbe Road in critical condition. He says Mpanga sustained injuries on the hands, legs and lips.
He says residents mobilized and tried to raze down Wakabi’s home using rudimentary tools when police came in to calm the situation.
