Police have vowed to deploy heavily especially at Parliament ahead of the expected tabling of a controversial age limit removal session slated on Tuesday this week.

The Police Spokesperson Asan Kasingye says that the deployment is meant to avoid people from engaging in criminalities as it is cited in the viral mobilization messages.

Last Thursday, security officers were sighted deployed at all routes accessing Parliament and within the parliamentary parking yard hiding in private cars.

Kasingye says they have information that there are activists who have mobilized people to disorganize tomorrow’s parliamentary sessions expected to have age limit motion.

Meanwhile, the Anti- age limit campaign coalition Members of Parliament have cautioned Police against arresting MPs saying that such operation will cause a paralysis to the parliamentary business tomorrow.

Speaking to media at parliament through their lawyers Medard Lubega Segona and Caleb Alaka, they note that parliament cannot fully be constituted, and transact business when some of their colleagues are in custody.

According to them, those reportedly on the list are; Hon. Muhammad Nsereko (Kampala Central), Allan Sewanyana (Makindye West) and Theodore Sekikubo (Lwemiyaga) among others
