The special SECAM 18TH Plenary Assembly and Golden Jubilee open discussions have entered the second day at the Common Wealth Resort Munyonyo and Bishops says Political leaders should equality question themselves whether they are doing enough to serve the electorate.

The Treasurer of SECAM Archbishop Charles Gabriel Palmer Burkle from Ghana says all leaders must account to the people for their services, sharing of natural resources, building space for political expression which is slinking in Africa.

He also commented on the statement made by the President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni at the opening Mass in Lubaga where he challenged Catholic leaders for presiding over a poor population still embroiled in subsistence production which has no value.

Archbishop Palmer says observance of social values is important at all leadership levels.

He has however noted with concern the deteriorating relationship between the government of Eritrea and the Church plus Jihadism in West Africa which two points have become a big challenge to humanity.

SECAM that started on July 21 2019 will be concluded on Sunday July 28, 2019 at the Uganda Martyrs Catholic Shrine Namugngo for the grand Golden Jubilee celebrations under the theme; Family Church of God in Africa celebrate your Jubilee proclaim Jesus Christ your savior.

It has attracted close to 400 delegates who include; Cardinals, Archbishops and Bishops, Priests and Religious including Cardinal Robert Sarah the head of the Sacraments and Divine Worship in Vatican as well as special delegates from America, Asia and Europe.
