Two kindergarten kids were Wednesday August 2, crashed dead by a fuel truck in Seeta town along the Kampala Jinja highway.
The two were pupils at Waterloo International Kindergarten located in the busy township.
They were identified as Ilakuti Joseph, aged 5 and Kansiimire Jin, aged 3.
The two were from the same family. They had reportedly been brought to the school by a maid who narrowly survived the accident.
Relatedly, a Traffic Officer was knocked dead this morning by a speeding car in Lugazi on the same Kampala – Jinja Road.
Officer Joseph Okwi attached to Lugazi Police Station was riding on a police motorcycle number UP 2093 when he was rammed by a Toyota Scacio number UAM 527W.
According former Kampala Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango, Okwi was rushed to Kawolo hospital but died on arrival.
“The driver of the Spacio is in custody at CPS Lugazi. The vehicle is parked at CPS Lugazi,” Onyango said.
