Street vendors are celebrating the resignation of the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Jennifer Musisi.
Although Musisi has not yet talked to the media since she tendered in her resignation to President Museveni yesterday, her brief statement in circulation appreciated the 7 year period she has served in KCCA, and her achievements indicating that she is to leave office on December 15th 2018.
Now the vendors operating along Ben Kiwanuka Street and Nakivubo say they are saved from the mistreatments by the law enforcers, their commodities stolen and others taken to what they describe as KCCA’s kangaroo court.
However some Vendors are worried of yet the unknown Executive director who will replace Musisi claiming they had got used to her policies and operations.
