Youths have been challenged to tap into cultural tourism as means to improve their income and economy.

According to the Director Soft Power Sarah Kagingo, youth today are not giving much into preserving their cultures and norms due to attraction by the foreign cultures leaving the indigenous traditional practices eroded.

This comes at a time when government is organizing the Uganda International Cultural Tourism fair slated for Friday and Sunday this week at the Uganda museum where a diversity of Ugandan cultures and foreign cultures are to be exhibited.

The event will also see a series of activities among them being dialogues where reputable speakers on culture and norms will speak to the youth on how to better their livelihoods among other activities.
