St. Joseph’s Girls Senior Secondary School Nsambya celebrated Golden Jubilee under the theme; celebrating academic excellence and Girl child education.

The school the brain vision of now the venerable Mother Kevin was started in 1967 by Sr. Mary Chrysostom who pioneered it with 70 students up to 1971.

The Archibishop of kampala, His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has challenged catholic youths to be witnesses of the truth and be ready to become martyrs of the present time.

Dr. Lwanga says that a greater percentage of Uganda’s population comprises the youths.

He says the church cherishes the gift of young people since from the days of the Bible; God’s ministry on earth was championed by young people.

He mentions examples of Moses, Joseph, Solomon, Mother Mary, and Jesus Christ.
