The Inspector General of Police General Kale Kayihura in not less than a day has made another reshuffle in the force dropping his personal Assistant Jonathan Baroza and replaced him with CP Ibrahim Sagal from Interpol.
Baroza, according to the reshuffle message is headed for a pending course while the other five officers are all taken to the Human Resource Department for redeployment.
The police Cyber Crime Unit and the Special Investigations Division (SID) have been assigned to investigate a group which claimed responsibility for the brutal murder of former Police Spokesman Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Andrew Felix Kaweesi, his body guard Kenneth Erau and Driver Godfrey Mambewa.
The inspector General of Police General Kale Kayihura has appointed the Director of Interpol AIGP Assan Kasingye as the new Police Spokesperson replacing AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi who was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Friday March 17th while from his home at Kulambiro.
In a Radio Communication followed by a hand written message General Kayihura said the “changes take immediate effect,” adding, “may the soul of our dear comrade-in-arms, AIGP Kaweesi, his driver and bodyguard Rest In Peace.
