The retired bishop of Rochester Diocese in the United Kingdom Michael James Nazir-Ali has challenged Ugandans especially Christians to become modern-day missionaries through resisting actions, thoughts and deeds that promote impunity.
While speaking to the thousands of Christians who thronged Mucwini Sub-County for the 40th anniversary celebrations of the late Archbishop Janani Luwum, Bishop Nazir-Ali said Just like Archbishop Luwum, no Christians and the Church of Uganda should support any forms of impunity.
The Catholic Church has come out with a strongly advise to Ugandans to fight adultery, witchcraft, laziness and infidelity if they are to protect their Marriages.
The Communications coordinator in Kampala Archdiocese Rev. Fr. Katerega Kiibi says a number of marriages the foundation to the catholic church have failed due to such ill acts on top of greed for money which is put first to a marriage which is a special calling and a blessing from God.
The former Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye has attacked the media for over amplifying government propaganda than reporting issues of national importance which rob off Ugandans their right to benefit from the natural resources.
While addressing the press at his offices along Katonga road, Besigye said that apparently the state is committing oil a natural resource for all Ugandans to Chinese companies which the media has treated with a deaf ear yet it costs the entire country.
