Airtel Uganda has given out six brand new motorcycles worth shs 36 million to six winners in the ongoing Airtel campaign dubbed “Vroomula Amajja”.

Airtel Mobile Commerce Uganda launched a new customer rewards campaign, “Vroomula Amajja”, aimed at promoting cashless transactions and digital financial inclusion.

The three-month campaign, which started on July 24th, 2024, gives Airtel Money customers, agents, and businesses using Airtel Pay merchant codes the opportunity to win prizes, including a Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid SUV, motorbikes, and e-money.

In a press briefing at Naguru on Friday after handing over motorcycles to winners, Charlotte Tushabe, the Head Usage and Retention at Airtel Money said that they want to prove to the public that using Airtel digital platforms is the best means possible to send money and save time.

Tushabe adds that goodies worth over shs 300 million have been given out in this ongoing three months campaign.

Some of the winners, who came from different parts of the country like Lira, Kotido, Mbale, and Makindye in Kampala among others, who talked to Radio Sapientia expressed gratitude to Airtel Uganda and encouraged other customers to use Airtel Money to win big.

The “Vroomula Amajja” campaign aims to enhance digital financial services by incentivizing customers to go cashless through daily, weekly, and monthly rewards.
