At St. Mary’s Cathedral Lubaga the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kampala, the 100 year old Cathedral was filled to capacity by both lay faithful and high profile dignitaries who celebrated the Easter Eucharist Mass led by His Grace Paul Ssemogerere the Archbishop of Kampala, animated by St. Cecilia Choir.

Easter brings new life encounter Jesus alive, who then appears to His disciples, providing them with evidence of His resurrection before ascending into heaven. This miraculous event confirms Jesus’ identity as the Son of God and the fulfillment of prophecies regarding the Messiah.
“Let the 40 days of the lent season not go to waste by going back to the bad behaviours, may you be exemplary and celebrate Easter with true Christian values and norms but not by throwing parties and enjoying to the fullest”, he emphasised.
Archbishop Ssemogerere welcomed the catechumens who accepted Christ during the Easter Vigil masses allover that let the Catholics welcome them with an open heart full of hope, love and compassion.
