The State Minister for Higher Education John Chrysostom Muyingo called on Ugandans to prepare for the general elections by spotting the right leaders who will build this country.
Muyingo says Ugandans must work for a peaceful election, all eligible Ugandans must prepare to vote, if one shunned away it’s the gateway to poor leaders who cannot be questioned for accountability.
In his speech at Lubaga Cathedral Muyingo also acknowledged the contribution of the Catholic Church in maintaining good standards in its schools that are outcompeting government schools among other developments that have transformed lives.
Its only eight months left to the next general elections slated for January 2026 and according to the national electoral commission road map nominations of leaders starts in September 2025.
Muyingo said President Yoweri Museveni in his message during this year’s Easter celebrations reminds Ugandans to work and live a true Christian life that supports one another and the country Uganda.
Prince David Wasajja in his speech called for a comforting heart to one another amongst Ugandans, justice, hope and patriotism.
He also made mention of Buganda Kingdoms demands in arrears from the Central government that has been neglected over time yet it could be a great contribution to the Kingdoms growth and development.
He reminded Kabaka’s subjects to stay focused work to support themselves and the kingdom the federal system of governance yearned for will come by.
