St. Mary’s Primary School Busaabala Celebrates PLE Success

Rev. Fr. Dr. John Baptist Ssonko praying for students

Parents and pupils on Wednesday joined the school management of St. Mary’s Primary School Busaabala in Naggalama, Lugazi Catholic Diocese for a thanksgiving mass for the exceptional performance in the recently released 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

The Mass was led by the Director of St. Mary’s Primary School Busaabala, Rev. Fr. Dr. John Baptist Ssonko together with the Head teacher of Seat of Wisdom Secondary School Kasawo, Rev. Fr. John Ssenkooto.

In his homily, Fr. Ssonko praised God’s providence that has enabled them achieve this success in the school, which gave them high scores in the 2024 PLE results, where out of 20 pupils who sat for the exams, six  passed in First Grade, 13 in Second Grade and one in Third Grade.

Fr. Ssonko has rallied the pupils to promote and protect the brand image of their school, St. Mary’s Primary School Busaabala.

On the side of the parents, Fr. John Ssenkooto challenged them never to relent on their responsibility of caring for their children especially ensuring that they go to school besides providing other basic needs.
